WSET Wine Game app for iPhone and iPad
The official Wine & Spirit Education Trust game app.
If you are a wine lover and looking for a fun way to test your knowledge - this app is for you!
Simply tap the screen where you think each wine should be placed, zoom in and release to confirm when you are happy with your selection.
You will be presented with a number of levels increasing in complexity to test your knowledge of wine and where it is produced around the world.
There is a time limit per level, with ten wines to try and place correctly.
The levels you will be faced with ask you to decide which country, region or sub-region the wine comes from.
The app features additional information on all the regions and grape varieties you have been faced with placing in the game, so as well as testing your knowledge, you can extend it! There are direct links back to the WSET website for more information on all the qualifications WSET offers worldwide.

The games are a lot of fun and a great way to lean more about wine regions
It is difficult to move in and out on the map as you need to do big region changes.
When it comes to wrong answer and correction sometimes it got too limited and difficult to understand and learn from our mistake specially for the map quizzes.
Its good to have an app like this. It would be better if you can keep track of the mistakes u made and can go back to it next time.
Its a fun and interactive way to help remembering the different wine regions. The only thing i dont like is the multiple tapping that you need to do to zoom in and out of a region. I hope there is a better way to do this.
This app is great! It has been so helpful with my memorization of all the wine regions. I high recommend this app to wine enthusiast and those studying to be a sommelier.

Some bad moments
The app keeps choosing the same locations during the game. It becomes quickly boring. This app is a good idea, though.
Good idea and fun. Needs to update the use of the mapping system or have an option to take off the timer.
Drills in to fast on map doesnt let you maneuver around on map needs serious upgrades before being user friendly
As I was studying WSET level 2 I downloaded this app hoping it would be a support system. Instead I found a clumsy geography game that takes so long to navigate that its impossible to complete. Unless you are a master of wine with a geography degree this app is useless.
So much fun- I only wish for more! A fabulously fun, fast-paced game, and a great learning tool. My only reason not to give 5 stars is I was sad to find it was over after 6 levels!! I hope it will be updated often and offer more challenges for advanced students! Thank you, WSET!
Unfortunately the when matching the labels to maps it difficult to move and increase map size for greater detail. Also, the labels are very difficult to read
